Why a Building Fund?

At Emmaus Road Church, we are a people reconciled by grace and by grace reconciling what is broken in the Appleton area. It is amazing to look back over the last seven years and see the work God has done in and through Emmaus Road:

  • 2012: Breed family moved to Appleton
  • 2016: Became a self-sustaining church with our own elders
  • 2017: Planted Living Stone Church in Oshkosh
  • 2018: Established a diaconate

Since the day we knew we would be leaving the Girl Scouts Building, we have faithfully committed ourselves to prayer to see where the Lord is leading us, and the Lord has answered our prayers. After meeting in January, our elders have discerned that God is leading us toward establishing a Gospel permanence in Appleton. In order to really grow roots in our community, our church needs a permanent home.

The next step for us in reaching this goal is to raise $250,000 for a down payment to purchase a more permanent facility.

Building Fund Update

81% of our goal has been given or committed through November 15th.

Thank you to the 50 family units that have given!
